VORSTELLUNG VON HEVIZ

is located in the southwestern part of Hungary. It lies near Keszthely, only 6 km from Western Balaton. It is the most important spa resort in Hungary. Lake Héviz is the second largest, biologically active, medicinal lake in the world. The temperature of the spa varies between 33˚ and 35˚C in summer, and around 24˚C in winter. The water of the lake has a special curative effect on the different kinds of rheumatic, locomotor, muscle, and nervous system´s disorders and gynaecological problems. The cure in Hévíz is not only for rehabilitation but it also serves for prevention, relaxation and recreation.

Spa

The water of the Hévíz Lake is rich in dissolved gas components, such as of carbonate, sulphur, calcium, magnesium and hydrogen carbonate. The medicinal mud, which covers the bed of the lake in a thick layer, deserves special attention. It is unique of its kind, contains both organic and inorganic substances and the radium-salts and reduced sulphuric solutions in it represent special medicinal factors. Complex balneotherapy or drinking cure has favourably effect and heal rheuma, osteoporosis, degenerative spinal/joint diseases, Bechterew syndrome, inflammation diseases of the joint in their chronic phase, tender tissue rheum, secondary diseases of the joints, as well as chronic, peripheral, nervous, and mechanical-related complaints. It may be used for post treatment of injuries and locomotor operations.

The Spa is not available for those suffering from

infectious diseases, tumours, heart failure, circulatory disorder, thrombosis and other blood production-related diseases, asthma, high blood pressure and pregnancy.

WIE ERREICHEN

Von Budapest nehmen Sie die Autobahn M7 dem Südufer von Plattensee entlang nach Balatonszentgyörgy. Dann über die Route 76 und dann Route 71 nach Fenékpuszta. Von der Richtung Wien-Sopron, nach der endenden Autobahn A1, werden Sie in die Richtung Sopron fahren. Von hier aus fahren Sie nach Balatonederics über Route 84. Dann nach rechts abbiegen und über Route 71 durch Keszthely erreichen Sie Hévíz.

’Heiliger Geist’ Romanische Katolische Kirche

die grösste Kirche in Hévíz. Plätze für 1000 Personen sind zur Verfügung. Sieben Türme der Kirche symbolisieren sieben Geschänge des Heiligen Geistes.

Lutherische Kirche

Die Kriche mit den roten Wänden, Marmordekoration und wertvollen Hholzkunstwerken errinert an die Ungarische Kalvinistische Kirche in Transilvanien.

Die Kirche aus der Zeit der Arpaden

Die Kirche in Egregy ist eine der schönsten ländlichen Kirchen aus der romanischen Zeit und eine der drei unversehrt gebliebenen Kirchen aus der Zeit der Arpaden.

Die ursprüngliche romanische katolische Kirche ’Nagyboldogasszony’

Zur Zeit ist die Kirche der Sitz der Residenz von Mutter Teresa.
